Marie just wrapped up her activities at DevGAMM Lisbon 2025, to much enjoyment and success.
The event contained many highlights, an amazing location, good food, roundtables, talks, workshops, a great main party (with karaoke) and overall great networking – all sea-side with great views.
Marie had two appearances:
– Her mainstage talk Too Many Features, Too Little Time? Kill Your Darlings and Save your Game, where she taught her concept of Design structure to help keep your game coherent.
– She had the honor to present the award for Excellence in Game Design at DevGAMM awards – a great, colorful, sparkly gala that celebrated the best of indie games in 2025.

All appearances went great. The video from the talk or interview is not yet online, but the awards ceremony can be watched here.
Marie much enjoyed the event that was flawlessly organized, and am much looking forward to future editions.
