This week, Marie headed back to Lisbon if only for a few days, to host and cast a Counter-Strike 2 tournament with CS:GO legend GeT_RiGhT for Data.bet.

The tournament itself was a 1v1 tournament on aim map, where participants faced off in a battle to get the most kills possible. Surprisingly, two of the three finalists went head-to-head equaling the former pro player with 15-15 rounds each. These two then faced it off in a final Bo5 decider – and Miraclerpg wasted no time getting those headshots in and defeating his opponent 3-0. For this feat, he won a Steamdeck and the chance to talk and take some photos with Marie and the legend.

This was Marie’s first return to casting Counter-Strike for a while, and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience both casting, hosting and interviewing afterwards. This is exactly what she used to do years back at Dreamhack Jönköping and original Counter-Strike 1.3-1.6, and everything came back naturally.

An already great day was then topped off with networking at the OG Esports 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, playing ping-pong with several esports friends and icons.

All in all, Marie had an amazing experience and is looking forward to be back in Lisbon when her adventure in France ends.
