Marie is one of the ladies in PlayCap Angel Invest – a new, pioneering 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 of 64 (and counting) women from all corners of the game ecosystem, investing in games.

By leveraging the network’s 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲, the angels are incredibly 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 to both analyze new opportunities and help those already invested in.

PlayCap doesn’t have any outspoken type of 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 thus far – each angel have its own preferences, and when the network choses to make an investment, some will join while others don’t. Marie’s own focus is on competitive games, with esports potential.

PlayCap is looking to have an 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 not necessarily by what we invest in, but instead for 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, collaborating and sharing knowledge and expertise to grow together and change the status quo where female investors are in great minority.
